Could Victoria go to zero? Yes it could!

We have long been bearish about carpets and floorings roll up (geddit?) Victoria (VCP). But it has not always been an easy short. 8 investors have held 80% of the stock and there have been painful bear squeezes. But after recent interims the shares are at near multi year lows at 255p, a market cap of £300 million. And one can now track a descent to zero.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: On Day 1 of the olive harvest, a challenge for loathsome Neill Ricketts but is he man enough?

It is day one of the harvest and feeling rather wet and very tired I explain a bit of what has gone on. Then it is onto Versarien (VRS), Chill Brands (CHLL) and musicMagpie (MMAG) two of which I expect to go bust in 2023.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - could or should Boohoo.com go bust?

I start with a nasty shock my grandmother, Lesbia Cochrane, got in the late 1920s. This is relevant I suggest that a whole swathe of millenials could be getting a similar shock this year and that is one of many reasons why I pose the Boohoo (BOO) question. I look at its balance sheet, cashflows, shocking G (as in ESG) and find myself agreeing with ouzo man. Thewn the chart below and what it means for any company including Purplebricks (PURP) , getting some PR dictated puffery in The Times today, exposed to UK housing. Finally it is 12 days to ShareStock. I am off to mow the lawn for the tents next, book your seats HERE

SHOCKER: Supply@ME Capital Interims – it will be out of cash by Christmas even with its new death spiral - and the directors now admit it may go bust

The fraudsters and chancers at Supply@MECapital (SYME) tried to seep out some of the poison of quite diabolical interims with a 31 August Trading statement, but the true horrors only emerged today. Even the directrs now admit it may go bust yet moronic private investirs reckon an £88 million market cap is cheap!

When does Purplebricks go bust? Some maths for y'all

We have warned about this Neil Woodford dog so many times.  Now, you may find this tasteless but I suggest that no-one in their right mind would actually buy a house right now as the grim Coronavirus reaper stalks this land. Do you want to have to sell your place with all sorts of strangers wandering around touching door handles, or more likely no-one wandering around? And why buy now when the grim reaper may well be freeing up a stack of houses and flats to come onto the market as a glut from anytime soon? Who has enough income security to take on a mortgage these days? This begs the question of when exactly will Purplebricks (PURP) go bust. Here is the maths.

Yet another Cloudtag Countdown clock - how long till the Fady Lady sings?

If no Nomad is prepared to act for the FRAUD Cloudtag (CTAG) then its shares, now suspended, will be booted off the AIM Casino. No AIM = no death spiral funding so it will - very soon - run out of, other people's cash, and will go bust. But the first step is being booted off AIM. And, inspired by liar Amit Ben Haim, we have a useful countdown clock until that ouzo moment. Enjoy.

The weasel words of lyin Chris Cleverley reviewed as FRAUD African Potash booted off AIM

The fraud African Potash (AFPO) has been formally booted off AIM today as no Nomad is prepared to act for it. It is a day of shame for lyin Chris Cleverley the CEO and his senior NED Lord Peter Hain of sleaze. The shares are now only listed in the joke lobster pot that is NEX Markets, it is almost impossible to sell in any size and even harder to raise cash as a company. So Potash will soon go bust. At the weekend I explained the very odd timeline of seven days in September that lead up to the last Nomad, Cantor Fitzgerald, quitting. Now look at lyin' Chris's words since.

Quindell four times as likely to go bust as Greece, but Piers Linney an even worse bet say ShareProphets readers

At the weekend we set up a poll asking which of ten candidates were the most likely to go bust. The results are not terribly surprising save for the touching faith folks have in Greece.

Our readers said that the most likely to go bust were:
